History

Easter Fence was founded in 1957 as Easter-Nelson Fence Company.  Walter Easter, Sr., along with Junior Nelson,  began installing storefront security fences in downtown St. Louis.  They innovated the industry by providing secure, attractive wrought iron fences across the fronts of many of the old buildings seen today.   

Easter-Nelson Fence incorporated in 1963 and soon thereafter moved into the residential market.  Easter-Nelson relocated to its current 5-acre facility in South St. Louis County in 1974.  Easter-Nelson Fence, Inc. became Easter Fence, Inc. in 1983.   

Easter Fence Today

Today, after a half-century in business, Easter Fence stands as one of the largest and most trusted fence companies in the Midwest. The original founder, Walter C. Easter, Sr., is still running the company, along with two generations of Easters working beside him.  Easter's customers have the security of knowing that three generations stand behind each fence.
